Findings

Studies show saw palmetto supplements may help with hair thinning: users saw 60% improvement in overall hair quality, 27% more total hair count, and increased density in 83% of people. About half stabilized their hair loss. Results came from small studies mixing topical and oral doses (100-320 mg), and it was generally well-tolerated with no serious side effects reported.
