Findings

Coconut oil actually has clinical evidence behind it for treating brittle hair and head lice, but argan oil doesn't have meaningful proof it does much of anything for hair growth, strength, or scalp issues. Castor oil falls somewhere in the middle with weak evidence for adding shine. Bottom line: the hype around argan oil doesn't match the science.
