Findings

Women who took 2.5g of specific collagen peptides daily for 8 weeks saw a 20% reduction in eye wrinkles compared to placebo, with results lasting even after stopping. The supplement also boosted skin's production of collagen and elastin by 65% and 18% respectively—the stuff that keeps skin firm.

Methodology

114 women aged 45-65 took either collagen peptides or placebo for 8 weeks in a double-blind study. Researchers measured wrinkles objectively and analyzed skin biopsies to track changes in collagen, elastin, and other structural proteins.
