Findings

Nearly 2 in 3 people with asthma report negative effects from fragranced products—with 43% experiencing respiratory problems and 28% having asthma attacks. Air fresheners, scented laundry products, and fragranced personal care items are the biggest culprits, and exposure is so common that 99% of asthmatics encounter these products weekly.
