Findings

Pycnogenol French maritime pine bark extract showed benefits for skin health in 39 rigorous clinical trials with 2,009 people total. The extract worked through antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects, plus it helped strengthen the structural proteins in skin (the extracellular matrix). Results appeared after 2 weeks to 6 months of use.
