Researchers created a wound-healing hydrogel combining astragalus polysaccharide with curcumin and other plant extracts. In lab and animal tests, it reduced inflammation, boosted blood vessel formation, and accelerated collagen production and skin regrowth better than standard approaches.

Scientists developed an injectable hydrogel formula and tested it on rat skin wounds, measuring anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and tissue-regeneration markers in cells and live tissue.
